Virtues
A virtue is a principle, trait, value, or idea that a character is very invested in.
When your player character has a "Virtue"- mechanically- they will earn a Token of Friendship for upholding their virtue in their actions. However, to do anything that contradicts or is against your character's virtue, they will need to spend two Tokens of Friendship, or be prevented from taking that action completly.
A character only earns a Token of Friendship by taking an active action that speads or upholds thier virtue. A character can't merely say, or explain, their virtue to earn a Token of Friendship.
A virtue is an optional trait to give to a character. While it helps earn Tokens of Friendship, it can limit what your character can do without spending more Tokens. A character can have a maximum of one mechanical virtue, but they can swap (or lose) virtues when they level up.

Honesty means always doing your best to tell the truth, and to never obscure information, mislead or deceive others.
Loyalty means always doing your best to support your friends and allies, and to never betray, ingore, or abandoned them.
