Communal Chips

There are three different kinds of "chips", associated with the core three stats: Body, Mind, and Charm. A character's class assigns them one of the types of chips.

When a player character fails a roll, of any stat or talent dice, they will add their type of chip to the Communal Pile. Players will always add their character's assigned chip-type, no matter what the failing roll was.

Once there are chips in the Communal Pile, players can choose to spend chips to add to their roll of a Body, Mind, or Charm dice. Every chip is valued at one, and can be only used as their associated stat. (Example: There are 3 "Body" Chips and 2 "Mind" Chips in the communal pile. When a character rolls "Body", they can take the 3 Body Chips and use them as a bonus of "+3" to their body roll.) Chips can not be used to boost talent rolls.

Once a character uses the chips, they are spent and removed from the pile. If a character uses chips, and still fails, they do not add a chip to the Communal Pile.

The GM can also use chips on the Body, Mind, and Charm rolls of NPCs and enemies, even directly against players.

Statuses

Statuses cause special effects to a character's dice rolls or stat values for a specific duration of rolls. Statuses are impermanent. Characters can only have one special status at a time.

POISONED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Everytime your character rolls a dice, loose one current stamina.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Poisoned status is removed/changed.)


INFURIATED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your charcter's "Body" dice is upgraded by 1x, but your character's "Mind" dice is downgraded by 2x.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Infuriated status is removed/changed.)


DAZED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Mind" dice is downgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Five Dice Rolls (or until Dazed status is removed/changed.)


EXAUGHSTED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Body" dice is downgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Five Dice Rolls (or until Exaughsted status is removed/changed.)


FRANTIC
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Charm" dice is downgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Five Dice Rolls (or until Frantic status is removed/changed.)


EMPOWERED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Body" dice is upgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Empowered status is removed/changed.)


ENLIGHTENED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Mind" dice is upgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Enlightened status is removed/changed.)


AWAKENED
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Charm" dice is upgraded by 1x.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Awakened status is removed/changed.)


LOOPY
This is the description for the status.
Status Effect: Your character's "Charm" dice is upgraded by 1x, and your character's "Mind" dice is downgraded 1x.
Status Duration: Three Dice Rolls (or until Loopy status is removed/changed.)
