Mourner Blazeblood, a brightly red-hued former "grublusus", who has lost his young troll charge to a culling, becomes the foretold hero of the Thunderclade of Purrbeasts. Starclade sees him as the one to stop the overwhelming megalomania of Talon Fiercegrasp.

SOLDIER PURRBEASTS is an experimental text-based Homestuck and Warriors Cats fan-work, where the first arc of Warrior Cats is re-written by an Alternian Author. Homestuck is a Mature rated franchise, and Soldier Purrbeasts will be for older audiences, too!

Both Warrior Cats and Homestuck carry themes about violent enforcement of distinct groups, social strata as the status quo, and unqeustionable divine authority. In the official Homestuck video game series, Hiveswap Friendsim, mentions the Alternian version of Warriors Cats is called "Soldier Purrbeasts." I was inspired to create an actual fully written version of Soldier Purrbeasts as a "story-in-a-story" world to comment on these themes. Soldier Purrbeasts uses a "Living Draft System" of updates, where older entries can be edited, and new entries can be put in-between older entries, too. It might be a terrible idea. The focus is the joy of being the creator, while hopefully the reader is along for the ride!
